There is always the chance they will pull a rabbit out of their hat as I stated before. However, if the majority of share holders feel a heightened risk of uncertainty, they will drive the stock lower by selling. It's that simple. RMP and uncertainty go hand in hand at the moment. I understand that if you are highly invested, you want them to exceed. But try to be rational here.
