RE:RE:perspectives

RE:RE:perspectivesHi Jkj1993741. Good points.

Hopefully I can explain my comment re "Inventor culture". I have no doubt that an inventor culture is exactly what was needed and will be needed for Zenith and Resverlogix to sustain themselves. Afterall, these are intellectual businesses and that is the very essence of what they do...create knowledge and ultimately create things that solve problems. The things they create and their ability to innovate in the future are the business.

However, I worked in the corporate world for 23 years and I know the power of and potentially the downside of "group think". This has been well researched over many years. So, at Resverlogix you also have group think. The board and management are almost the same. These people want to get along and enjoy each other and their achievements. Their successes have come through scientific discovery which has allowed them to source capital and carry on.

So Resverlogix has gone from an idea 14 years ago or whatever through lot's of discovery driven by "inventor and science culture" (as needed). However, now based on the post hoc analysis, they actually have something (rvx--208) that really seems to be performing with statistical levels of p<.001 and higher in some cases and functional regressions at levels of 7% points in some cases if I remember correctly.

Now, science is all about replication, so results need to be proven in the future. But if we say that the results look very positive THEN it is time to complement the inventor culture by leveraging the research in a more entreprenuerial way. Now what this means needs to be thought through. Part of it could be building the brand aspect in a very siignificant way in parallel with the phase 2c. The science guys will say it's too dangerous because it migh fail, but, they have lived with this and should have a real intuitive feel for it.

So in broad terms I think they may be looking inward and have a restricted paradigm and they need to break out of the box.

I've been rambling on too long but here is an example I've seen. A brewmaster is brewing and perfecting his or her perfect beer. He is testing various batches of this new brew. It's a really good brew but he/she feels it not perfect. However, he/she needs money to carry on. An investor thinks the beer is great and puts in some cash. The brewmaster thinks this is great and continues to feed his family and tinker with his beer and look for the next investor.

The entrepreneure would take this perfectly good beer and tell the world how great it is, thus allowing the brewmaster to continue his refinements and tweaking and allow the entrepreneure
to build the business.

This is not a totally fair analogy to RVX because I sense they are great and talented people but they may be stuck in a rut. They must leverage what they have achieved.

That being said I remain very hopeful, positive and I'm not selling any shares.
Cheers
Toinv
