I don't think it's a not for profit attitude at all. I believe these are highly motivated, very bright people. I just think it's a box or paradigm they may be stuck in. Eastern's commitment seems to be there for sure. I'm sure they are not there for purely philanthropic reasons. They should have a real sense of urgency in terms of bringing the best resources to the table to keep this moving. Keep in mind, these are only my persectives. I have not studied them.
As they've achieved significant progress over the last 14 years the corporate culture develops. The culture of the early days needs to evolve precisely because of their achievements.
Also, when you(RVX) have figured out how to pay yourself and employees a good buck and feel confident about future funding (which does reflect confidence in their scientific findings) you may lose some edge on the intensity of your business efforts...but I seriously doubt this for Resverlogix.
Anyway, just some thoughts.
