Split or buying back stock?
Comment by TheBridge on Jan 12, 2022 2:30pm
ace1mccoy, I think it's going to have to be the split, most buy backs occur when the share price is considered low compared to what it's really worth. If they were going to do buy backs it would have been wiser to do that when the share prices were around $100 which isn't all that far back. Could they do buy backs anyway? Ace1, I think we're on the verge of doing the Ameoba split into two at $150, what do you think?

To The Bridgeman , I'll take it ! I like the way you think!    Gotta love it no matter what though !!  When is the the next Q report and would BOD/ management announce a 2-1 split at that time or just out of the blue? Feb is the new jacked divy payment date so....   TB smells a split coming as well . Right TB?

Royal last split 2 or 1 in 2006 while TD did a 2 for 1 split in Jan. 2014. The Royal has dropped behind TD in growing into split territory. I have both of these and wouldn't sell either one.

I have positions in BMO , RY , TD , BNS all in a margin account.  I'm very happy to just sit back, relax , create wealth and take the divys. It doesn't get any better than that in my opinion.  GLTA ...more
