I should have added this to the original pumping package yesterday. I find it quite striking how quickly the battery world is moving to higher nickel content batteries. It seems to be way ahead of what pundits said even just a few quarters ago.
Panasonic, LG Chem, CATL, and SK innovation either are producing new more nickel intense formulations or have plans to produce by early 2019 (CATL). It remains to be seen what quantity they produce them in but since the new formulation are both more energy dense and cheaper I would surmise the new formulations will quickly displace the old.
