You have to look at the 20 year chart for both LME level and Ni price to get a fair idea of where things are going. Its not consistent by any means but it looks like Ni prices move from $6 to $8/lb when LME level drops below 150KT. Like any other metal, lots of things can happen to change the game one way or the other, but generally the trend is up for EV and renewable energy storage systems and Ni / Co continues to be in favor.
