That legislation has been hanging over Sherritt's head for decades now. I don't think the SP has anything to do with that as it has been beaten down for months and the 45 day suspension was only announced on the 19th.
I think the battery metals fever has faded along with cobalt's spot price and rightly or wrongly I think most or at least many of Sherritt's newer investors were focused on that metal. If nickel or cobalt make a big move sherritt will too. At least the nickel price seems to be firming up.
