RE:thanks againmiles44 Not sure why you would enter and then exit so quickly. This actually looks like a decent entry point. Unlike many nickel mining prospects, Sherritt is an established producer. If you are bullish on nickel and cobalt, S is a good speculative play on that (I have a smallish position in S.TO and a very large position in Russian nickel producer NILSY). For Sherritt pretty much all the bad news is done and over (except the virus of course). Coal gone, Ambatovy nickel venture gone, and now Oil exploration, all written off. Bondholders hit with a cut to further clean up the books. Now Trump is out so renormalization of relations with Cuba ahead and we have Biden's green push (along with the rest of the developed world). I'd say S is in probably the best position they've been in a long time (despite weak management) to profit if nickel (and cobalt) prices continue to recover. But hey, it's your money.
