But sherritt ...as far as the US is concerned...is illegaly occupying a mine in cuba that was owned by americans before castro stole it. No US company is allowed to do business with shertitt...not only to buy its products but they arent even allowed to sell anything to sherritt. And no officer of sherritt can enter US without being arrested. In addition, any company in the world that does business with sheritt is open to possible sanctions. Case in point a couple of years ago Panasonic cancelled all nickel purchases from sherritt for its batteries so not to loose US business. So how exactly is sherritt going to do anything be it joint venture or anything else in canada and sell the product to the US? Never gonna happen
