RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Time to load up gentlemen

I'm quite optimistic the public reporting for S is about to make a Great Leap Forward. Wishful thinking maybe, that the ouija board like financial statements, notes , and md&a will soon be clear and transparent. Also maybe, I should be careful what I wish for.  As a long time reader of financials I've always found S to be challenging. Maybe the truth is it's not "misunderstood" , maybe it's just a steaming pile. But I'm expecting the disclosure and discussion going forward to be much improved , and to make it apparent to all, just how undervalued the assets actually are. I'd rather not place any value on the propaganda from both sides of the Cuba question. On one side, Fox and friends take a short break from blathering on about scooby coup of mar-a-lardo, to take a shot at Cuba.  Enough said. On the other side, a lobbyist I have on ignore cites the "OFFICIAL VOICE OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF CUBA CENTRAL COMMITTEE". Also, enough said. In the absence of reliable , cold hard results, it's hard not to get swept up in the discussion of "how I enjoyed my trip to varadero" or the latest refugee desperately wanting to stay in America who has a microphone stuck in his/her face. According to the U.N. "Refugees are people who have fled war, violence, conflict or persecution." an economic refugee is an oxymoron not recognized or fitting the UN definition of a refugee, so the flood of people from South America, Central America, Mexico and Cuba will , of course, claim "refugee status" to circumvent the long list of people on the waiting list that follow the rules. I'm not making investment decisions that pay any heed to either side of that debate.

If FT or its project were worth squat, someone would have bought it long ago. This is not something new that just fell into Leon's lap. Or vale, xstrata, bhp, rtz, or even teck, chinese, or Russians. (Pre crimea ). There's plenty to keep Leon busy. Like cleaning up the balance sheet and compensation plan
