SIMPLE MATHEMATICS - REMEMBER TO USE CONTEXT

SIMPLE MATHEMATICS - REMEMBER TO USE CONTEXTWhen it comes to sales, let's just use EV sales as an example, remember to use context.

If you sell 1 car this year and 3 cars next year thats a 300% increase.

So when someone says there's a 300% increase in sales without any context, it seems unbelievable.  Like the example above, if someone says we sold 1 car last year and this year we sold 3, its a very underwhelming data point.

Look at the big picture.  How many cars are sold annually, how many are EV's as a comparator, whats the percentage, whats the context and what's the future sales look like once you have analyzed markets, trends, costs, geopolitics, economics, etc etc etc .

Use common cents.  Don't be a victim to ignorance.  Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
