Dear*SILENCEDOGOOD* a.k a "The Dog"

Howdy "DOG" good wise crack tough guy!! You want a very educational conversation/topic, solve me this one Einstein!!! I only have been asking this board a bazillion and one times but nobody wants to touch it, so let's see you take the lead, "Dog" ...... What the heck is Sherritt intl corporate growth story going forward? And I'm not talking about rising commodity prices to increase revenues I'm talking more like organic growth, new venture, expansion, something, what is it????? Without growth, wall/main /bay & welfare street won't touch this name, period!! In simple words, because you are so highly educated, it's a *dead stock". The power, technology division is to pueny in my opinion to contribute to anything of true meaning in this name, oil biz is dead, and madsagar was a dream , power biz is pretty small and looks like it's getting a bit smaller each and every quarter, the technology side, I don't see it becoming the next IBM or Nvidia... so ironically this company is shutting more doors down! And how come with booming commodity prices Sherritts cash position keeps shrinking. Now it's down to $153 mil compared to $167mil to start the year and nickel is up over $2.00usd in that span? Also *Yourfriendo* I hope you make money on your Sherritt bet, but if I may ask is this a longer term hold or a quick dump & Go????Am I missing something here??? Talk soon, I'm curious what "Dogs" answer will be while I wait patiently.

This is an extremely interesting discussion.. Question: Sherritt is losing money now so it will never make money in the near future.. To answer correctly to this question need a bit of analysis. With the announced lowest NDCC in HPAL, we can assume it will make tons of cash. Well, it is now too easy to trick that number when we can put the maintenance costs in Capex that is not be calculated ...more

*iammagic* maintenance costs are always going to vary because of what needs to be addressed now and what can we hide for now!!! but pound for pound Moa's maintenance needs will always be higher than the average newer nickel mine because moa mine is very old and rusty mine thus maintenance heavy. A few years ago(2018 or 2019) they dumped over $80 mil at moa because of issues that kept piling up ...more

From my perspective the answer is in the technologies department and we may not be the next IBM but we can and I think will be part of the new market. With some 200 plus giga type battery plants coming on board the world over ...S will play a part and our CEO has indicated the same with eyes on BM and CMs ...I been preaching and hoping at same time that we tap into a Canadian source of a cobalt ...more

Thanks for your perspective*red* I have been saying for years that Sherritt should seek growth in Canada or USA & your valid points *red* make sense & I have to agree. I honestly don't think Sherritt has the capital to bring a successfull project in there portfolio. Let's face it Sherritt is drowning in debt, the debt is trading at 60cents/dollar(junk) they got $153mil in the bank ...more

Thanks and I believe there is a good option for us at S and FT ... from my FT post  RE:RE:Supply sources of concern…. Maybe.... just maybe the great disconnect between end users and miners will come to an end and some one taps into us at Nico ..... we all know the time it takes to get something going for  a mine ....and in addition to other things why the Nico / FT should be looking ...more
