Finally some life. It's funny how an analyst's comments can perk this up so quickly. Let's wait and see if this is "The Name in Nickel" and starts following the commodity price. Sherrit has been realizing nickel prices Above 10$ for months. This recent rise in commodity price is positive but at the end of the day this stock needs new money. cheers

I bought this morning at the open after reading the analyst report . I have been familiar with Sherritt for years and looking to add some nickel to my portfolio. It is reassuring to have analyst  do some digging and rate it . Cobalt is great too !! GLTA!

I'd say "Decent volume" is a bit of an understatement! I'd say it insane through the roof volume.

Nice pop today. I wouldn't get carried away on the volume, just over 1% of float what is encouraging is the quick move with so few shares compared to float. Suggests this has some legs. cheers

I've got my sell orders in for both $0.65 and $0.80 for the next 3 months, hopefully there are legs and it pops up there so my order fills at what I would deem a decent gain for my 3 years of hair loss.  There is always hope. I'm sure there are other long time shareholders like yourself who suffer from shareholder fatigue . I think S will report quarterly earnings in next month or so . That maybe the next leg up . When the commodity price goes up suddenly companies get profitable. As the process of world electrification begins commodity like nickel ( that nobody cared about for years ) ... become hot commodities

These latest results makes me long for the good old days at Sherritt, when every month we could expect a press release.

Funny thing is nothing changed about the company.   No operational or financial actions were taken by the company itself.   Some analyst simply said "hey, how about these guys?".  Goes to show how much these guys have been forgotten about.

Wouldn't say forgotten.. Many investors still remember the high debt, Ambatovy debacle, egreious exec compenstation, etc. New management and new focus on growth may be the spark to give S another shot.

If one analyst's recommendation can 20x the volume from the previous day and +21% the SP I'd call that a forgotten stock.

The TD report is exactly what has been missing, and what S stock price needs IMO. Credibility, in that the greater investing public needs a reason to believe that inherent/historical risks have been mitigated/balanced by current conditions. upcoming quarterly report will hopefully confirm that S is finally on solid ground with Ni prices flying high... cheers, mas75

Obviously doesn't hurt and I think adds fuel to the fire but Sherritt has to start demonstrating profitability.  No more unplanned outages, unexpected cost increases or executive buyouts used as excuses,  Sherritt won't be given the benefit of the doubt.  I hope this Q4 is a Q that the market can rally around and continue with this momentum.   If we get another day
