The article says car makers will have incentive to buy nickel elsewhere because Indonesia nickel is produced with a lot if carbon emissions and a greener alternative is preferred. We'll that doesn't give us a lot of hope for sherritt does it. First, MOA is an ecological catastrophe compared to other mines. Second no western car maker will deal with sherritt because they don't want to ...more

well actually we make mix sulphides concentrate using fuel oil at moa and then in Fort Saskatchewan we use clean natural gas to refine to finish product. We have more transport emissions maybe because we are moving our product all the way to Saskatchewan from Cuba. But for a laterite / hpal mine we are quite clean.  We do not use coal and we do not cut down rain forests.  When Panasonic ...more
