Lifting Sanctions

Happy Fall Season Everyone. I havent chimed in for a while. I would certainly like to see sanctions lifted from the US for the people of Cuba first and then for Sherrit product. But as for Sherrit product , there must be so much demand in Europe for product that it would eat it all up. They are doing the right thing by being much more aggressive on electrification of transport and setting deadlines. Why wouldnt Ford be buying up supply now while its low for its 5 Billion dollar battery plant being built in Windsor Ontario. Maybe thats the reason for building it in Canada so they can use Sherrit nickel and cobalt from Saskatchewan and Cuba. Also my memory is of low grade so I cant remember the other battery plant being built in Ontario. Joint venture between LG and not sure but Im gonna guess Mitsubishi for 3.5 Billion. Could be the same reason. The placement of these plants totally makes sense along the 401 corridor and CN rail line. As long as the battery says Made in Canada then it can go. Thoughts or Perspective

Ford is quite content with thier battery material partners in china. Chrysler and GM have partnered with LG Chem/En through out North America. SK innovation, BASF, Panasonic, are ...more

Albatross I stand corrected on the Fort Sask. in Alberta point. Thankyou. Also thankyou to all who responded. I didnt know the blending for better words was being done in Kingston. Still 401 corridor. I was a specialized Machinist for 23 years untill I had to retire due to disability. We had a global market in the manufacture of different instumentation components using all metals from carbon ...more
