ProShares Short SmallCap600 T.SBB

Primary Symbol: SBB

The investment seeks daily investment results that correspond to the inverse (-1x) of the daily performance of the S&P SmallCap 600 Index. The fund invests in financial instruments that ProShare Advisors believes, in combination, should produce daily returns consistent with the funds investment objective. The index is a measure of small-cap company U.S. stock market performance. It is a float-adjusted, market capitalization-weighted index of 600 U.S. operating companies selected through a process that factors in criteria such as liquidity, price, market capitalization, financial viability and public float. The fund is non-diversified.

RE:RE:RE:Predictions

RE:RE:RE:PredictionsAnd now for the silver (gold?) lining / glass-half-full view:

Fri Feb 10 close:       1.58

Mon. Feb 13   (BTO takeout announcement)

Mon Feb 13 close:   1.74  (up over 10%)

Today's close:          2.20

Two-month total gain in SBB shares since  the BTO announcement: 39%

1) Not many junior gold stocks up this much over the past two months even with the rise in the price of gold.

2) If you think SBB's current share price would be anywhere close to 2.20 today if BTO's offer never existed, you're kidding yourself (I know, I know....long-term investor, wanted to see it through, "multi-generational" land package....be careful what you wish for re. the risk and possible budgetary problems with this project in this location had SBB decided to go it alone)

Do feel for those who lost money overall with this stock, but that comes with the territory when you invest in these types of companies.
