Canada announces bigger EI payments

This seems to have lit a fire under the canadian banks... BFIN up nicely today on the bid/ask....
New plan says minimum of 500$ a week to EI recipients and many of those would NOT have qualified last Febraury when the pandemic hit.
SBC holdings up nearly 2 % today ...
Appears this split fund will be paying for a long time.... most other splits cannot say the same.

I'm a bank man now.  I'm old now.  I used to say banks were for old men.  Time for a little red convertible.
