STHRF: Strathcona Resources initiated with a Hold at TD Securities


TD Securities analyst Menno Hulshof initiated coverage of Strathcona Resources
with a Hold rating and C$34 price target. Strathcona is a "differentiated as a
diversified, high-growth story that checks the box on scale as the seventh
largest Canadian producer," the analyst tells investors in a research note.
The firm notes that the company carries marginally higher than average balance
sheet leverage.

Great advice, TD. I am Holding, and I bought more today. For those who know how to use a calculator. Take MEG which is roughly producing the same volumes of bitumen as combined SCR heavy Lloyd and Cold Lake. Write down its EV from the latest presentation or calculate your own. Then take NVA producing about same volumes as SCR Montney. Estimate its EV. Add both EV numbers, minus $2.9 billion
