Another bread crumb? There is this snippet from the May 27th news release on the HPA patent that we all maybe have overlooked. Even JK didn't pick this up. I'm really interested in what other (native English) posters here on SH read.
GP: "The projects we have assembled now, using ion exchange recoveries from copper raffinates (CMR), and solvent extraction/ion exchange recoveries for HPA, can generate a suite of critical metals specifically suited for use in a lithium-ion battery. Market demand timing for these products is excellent. Furthermore, these projects can be located in USA/Canada, and they can produce products from existing feedstocks without creating a new mine footprint"
This is my takeaway:
- The alleged deal SCY has with Barrick is just one of such arrangements
- At least 2-3 projects
- CMR and HPA
- Al least 1 project in Canada
- Technology similar to Phoenix: they can produce products from existing feedstocks without creating a new mine footprint.
- All similar timing/status
GP, who wrote this section, had a clear view of the projects/mine sites in his mind, IMO.
- technologies used
- products (battery materials)
- markets (excellent demand)
- locations (USA and Canada)
- Mine sites (from existing feedstock, no new mine footprint)
The story is getting better and better: the announcement of a partnership with Barrick may not be the first one and it will certainly not be the last one!!
