The Company has a 100% leasehold interest in the exploration and development stage Copperstone Project, which encompasses approximately 12,258 acres of surface area and mineral rights in La Paz County, Arizona, within a 50 square kilometer land package. It controls over 546 federal unpatented mining claims and two Arizona state mineral leases which together comprise the Copperstone Project area. The federal claims cover approximately 10,920 acres. It also holds other investments and projects at various stages of development.

Latest Copperstone Update...Mining Contractor Revealed??Small Mine Development

As per the latest release they completed 1,674 lineal feet of rehabilitation work at the Copperstone Mine in preparation for future mining..very nice!

I checked these guys out...I really like what I see...they have contracts currently in place with mining giants Barrick and Newmont...three in progress with Newmont and one with Barrick amongst others.

I will post links which will give you more insight on this contractor...they have been in business since 1982...taken over by senior managers in 2010...lovely!

The chose of the Mining Contractor and their acceptance and dedication to the project is very, very important!

I really like this option:

"SMD will also consider straight joint venture prospects or other creative options"

All depends on what you have to give up...perhaps an initial start up agreement??
