“Cooperstone had announced it would go into production in

".... @Glwt @blinds0r Cooperstone had announced it would go into production in 2018, then 2019, then 2020. With the initial $12M investment from $STRR in 2020, it was assumed the mine would go online in 2021, but the latest PR seems to indicate that it won't be before Q3 2023... at the soonest. You might think that there is "funding in sight" but most $SGLD investors don't think so; SGLD's SH is at its lowest point ($0.06!)... On the other hand, I like your optimism and I have no small amount of trust in Kevin Maclean. Let's hope for the best for those who are heavily invested in $STRR.

I look at the situation this way.  Barrick just announced a drop of over 10 percent in Gold production, Katusa is saying that Physical Gold is being horded more than ever, but hedge funds are not buyig Juniors.  Most are looking for higher Gold prices by end of this year..  However, merger and acquisitions look to be increasing dramatically.  The market cap of SGLD looks ...more

On the other side of the coin, Barrick beat by 100 million. Sweet. They also raised dividends. We own both, Barrick and Sabre Gold will both outperform for completely different reasons. LOL!!!!!!!  No one would EVER even think of buying this scam hole in the ground. You're more delusional than most here.

Copperstone Mine should have gone into production years ago... The clear predicament is getting the final $30+ million to get Copperstone into production within a full year once proper financing is secured... Why they continually have issues getting financing and NEVER meet their production timelines is beyond Frustrating!!!

All of the loans that are in first place have to subordinate to the new lender.  This takes time to get everyone on board but they will subordinate if they want to see production.
Comment by GoldenPolarBear on May 08, 2022 2:08pm
I think the real issue is that they constantly can't find a new lender to provide about $30+ million to put the Copperstone Mine into gold production thus they have recently lost John Galassini & David Thomas, because they both were not willing to wait another year or three until .... I think that you are making guesses about this situation and I also think that your assumptions are incorrect.

Yes that has been obvious for a while  GPY couldn't get anyone to lend them startup money. Neither could Arizona, or not enough. Therefore they merged to get 'benefits of scale'..
