Since the mulit-billion dollar LNG Project fell thru for the Goldboro area, this IMHO should bode well for the ANX Goldboro gold mine. This area of the province needs jobs and tax revenue as the population has been declining in this area for some time.
PCs plan to spend a bunch of money on Healthcare and will need new tax revenue streams to make up the difference. Can't keep going further into debt.
Tax revenue from Goldboro for the province will be a huge revenue stream not to mention the good paying jobs and spin-off jobs that this mine will generate (somewhere near 600 jobs - more tax revenue). That is what this area of the province needs and ANX can make that happen.
Let's blow it up and fill the government coffers with Healthcare cash and the shareholders pockets as well
I'm hoping as well GoldNHill! Your right the Goldboro and surrounding area needs it but to be honest, not sure it will make a difference. Living in Windsor NS and watching the turmoil of our causeway, man made lake and road twinning; a few environmentalists can be the real hurdle!
