RE:Goldenville Formation extends to 4500 m depthya..a good read...Paul K Smith (one of the authors of the publication was underground at Goldboro several times...taught me a lot.

Goldenville is also said to to upwards of 10+ Kms in total depth.

One interesting pick from the doc is the Mount Uniacke geological section  (immediately below) where is shows the rich ore rolls with the feeding quartz stringers that bleed quartz up to the next usually argillite/slate belt above.  Interesting to note Dolliver Mountain image shows the same thing between the Forge Belt and the 22-Foot Belt strategraphically above...just a few years between the two images.

I have seen these stringer feeder veins at Forest Hill and Goldboro...interesting stuff if you are a rock head ;)
