RE:RE:RE:Current Drilling Program drilling into known u/ g lodeThe deposit is a saddle reef type deposit like those giant mines in Australia Bendigo and Ballarat...they go really deep and have very high grades underground...probably not unlike Goldboro (TO BE DETERMINED OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DECADES).
The gold grains are very fine to coase grained (up to several ounces according to historical records from the Boston Richardson mine). I have seen gold nuggets in core at Goldboro as big as your thumbnail. This is the nature of the gold throughout the deposit.
The finer grainded disseminated gold is genrally found in the greywackes, argillite/slate hosts as well as inclusions in some of the sulfide minerals (arsenopyrite, phyrrotite and galena)..The sulphide minerals occur throught the deposit and generally increase in percentages in and around the areas where the higher grades of gold occur. The more sulfide minerals the more gold generally.
