Weekly StatsWow, the first week of August 2022 would be remembered as a great one! Kevin and all reinstated their credibility by getting the EA approval on the first attempt, getting the go ahead in 2 months instead of "expected" 18 months! The markets does not realize it yet, but that's just a great milestone they achieved, de-risking the project big time and showing that the community and the government are happy to back/support this project.
The volume for the week is pretty low, with only 300K shares traded on the TSX for this short week, despite this excellent news. Some former small investors shoped this week at the current low price to get back in the story now that Point-Rousse issues are fixed. In assessing the trading action, we can see that some big ones are trying to benefit from the quiet summer period to accumulate shares too. The SP incresed 31% which is the biggest weekly move north since I compile these stats. It demonstrates that we are currently pretty under-valued and that we have room for much better.
Gold inceased by 2.4% consolidating around the $1770 resistence level. GDX and GDXJ finished the week flat but the volume is not there yet. When the crowd will decide that gold is the place to be, and some TA gurus say that it might be in Septmeber, than "TO THE MOON BABY!!". The promo team has time enough to prepare the communication strategy and be ready for the lift of. This time, I'm more patient and will prefer that they take their time instead of rushing it as going full blast right now it might fall on deaf ears.
