RE:Saturday Site Visit

Thanks, as always, for the field updates winedoc.

the info yhzsailor shared a while back might give us a clue as to why we are not hearing anything about a BMO-brokered deal. The public consultation for the federal permit is ongoing, started May 27, running til July 27.

so we know it will be at least well into August before we hear anything about that permit, if not later (knowing the speed of government). Even if the public consultation is the final step, it'll still take some time to compile all data and render a decision.

I don't know much about these kinds of deals but I'm thinking, even if BMO found someone who is drooling over the drill numbers, they would want to wait until the permitting runs its glacial course.

The "beast" is worthless if the government won't allow anyone to dig it up.

using the NS Gov environmental approval as an indicator, I am optimistic that all permitting will be ultimately successful, but holy heck it is agonizingly slow.
