RE:Ugly Chart, Ugly Europe, Crazy US China Policy I'm out todayThere is certainly nothing wrong with the chart.

As for your other reasons they are certainly valid.  Many times over the years I have sold to protect capital.  Sometimes I have rebought higher and sometimes I have rebought lower.

Whats interesting rusty is that you and I are seeking the same thing with opposite investment decisions.  I bought and have continued to buy SGY to preserve capital.  This is one of the few oil and gas names that has steady insider BUYING by its highly respected CEO, a gernerous yield that is fully covered by cashflow, and strong insitutional support.  I can think of no better risk reward right now.

I see this time period as another shift from the momentum players to strong hands.  We've had some solid gains yet there has been continued support of the share price.  Eventually we will settle down and have lower volume and less drastic price moves.  That's when the speculators and momentum players will finally have moved on to more sexy plays.  I'm staying put here.
