Surge Energy Inc (Alberta) T.SGY

Alternate Symbol(s):  T.SGY.DB.B | ZPTAF

Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

RE:RE:RE:RE:Big drop in line of credit $150m Punjabi...... those points are true what u mentioned except for your 30$ oil prediction , Yes stress testing companies is good idea , but as more time passes , companies with much higher debt levels or much higher break even prices will go bankrupt first ( and are going bankrupt as we speak ) long before anything happens to SGY , LTS is a perfect example of one nearing its death bed right now.

SGY can always eliminate the dividend , lower capex ( they can afford to lower their growth as their declines are just under 20% If i remember correctly ) to save their money instead of dipping into their LOC. Management of SGY is 100 times more proactive than other foolish managements ( such as LTS) who never did any of the above I mentioned until they were near bankrupt.

Oil will be higher than what it is now by the end of this year I can confidently say , I don't know how much higher but it will be.
