long quantity ??

long quantity ??
Hi i am quite new to the stock investing. I tried to sell my 400 surge energy stocks today and my investors edge account wouldnt let me as a mesage came up "the quantity your attempting to trade is greater than your avaiable long quantity " i even tried to enter many different amounts and i cant seem to sell any amount of the stock ? if any one has any advice please let me know.
