So we will need the rest of 2023 to eliminate the surplus of crude (which is directly tied to wti) before people will start to panic.  Ok. I can wait 4 months...

market makers don't inventory positions in an auction market like Toronto.  whatever manipulation that may or may not happen, it's not the market maker(s)
