RE:Hope Goodfellow gets bought out by SJ

RE:Hope Goodfellow gets bought out by SJI never understand why they haven't done that deal yet.

They are neighbors in Delson QC, the Goodfellow are getting old.

I guess, it would depend if they can get it at the right price.

Goodfellow as a book value of close to $19, their assets have been so
much amortized that their is hardly any cost associated with that expense on their reporting.
The asset value is probably worth much more than the $19

the huge land in Delson alone is probably worth quite a bit of $$$

GDL has no debt and is profitable. At the right price it could be very accretive to SJ
to add this 500 to 625 million in sales.Their would be cost synergy.

Having gone to GDL shareholders meeting in the past and talking to them, i don't think

the Goodfellow and M. Jarislowsky will give their company away.

It could get done at a FAIR price.

Time will tell.

I own both GDL and recently bough SJ
