Financing Fiasco Chapter 18

Financing Fiasco Chapter 18Trilogy Metals has 50% of a treasure trove in central Alaska. Unfortunately, to build a road to get to said treasure is going to cost 3 or 4 treasures. I don't understand why people buy this dreck.

Anyway, TMQ decided to raise a paltry $3.2 million. The stock was quietly trading at 80 cents. The brain trust in charge decided that 55 cents would be an appropiate price. I don't understand why people buy this dreck.

I have seen exactly one capital raise in recent history that you would describe as well done, that being Rupert Resources a few months ago. The exception that proves the rule: If you are a shareholder in a company needs to raise money, get ready for pain, and plenty of it.
