RE: Know why you invested
Yes, great advice Hog. Weird how you talk of fundamental s in a very unconventional sense (because really, stock is 100% speculative) but technically correct I suppose. To me, this feels a bit like a “love-in” and has got me feeling well, a bit warm and fuzzy, sort of like that feeling I get when I knock back some good homemade tequila. I get the sense a lot of people on this board probably went to the same grade school and I think that’s really cute.
I’d like to be part of this club and really, when we get right down to it, all we really want is just to be loved and accepted (besides making money I mean). Everybody wants to feel needed and I’m no different. So let me share some trivia that I think is really, really cool and maybe I can make amends for my brusque behaviour earlier.
Back in the day when companies ran these types of operations, there were 6 degrees of separation between people. That meant that anyone on the planet could be connected to any other person on the planet through a chain of acquaintances that has no more than five intermediaries. That in its self is pretty cool. Now, with the internet and high tech communications, it’s thought that there are 3 degrees of separation between people. That blows my mind! That’s only two intermediaries between someone like a “stock promoter” and someone like a market “market regulator.” Is that not majorly cool?
Here’s a little something interesting too. If you haven’t seen this before, you’re going to love it.
