You see, in most cases the reverse split is the desperate act of a piss poor stock. Here however, just like in NNO, those who partook in the big financing were very much aware that in a few months there would be a reverse split. Those people will not be panicked out of their shares like most usually are in a reverse split. Also, Wheaton River owns more than 70% of the shares, and you know they won't sell a single share. That said, next week will be quite volatile, because there's a lot going on for SLW, the reverse split is just 1 of 4 major doings.
