Polaris (t:pls)As a former pls shareholder thought I'd pass on a little company history....
Polaris is gravel pit on northern Vancouver Island, conveyers load the gravel to a ship or large sea going barge. Summer 08 stock was worth around $8.00 (down from $14). A (fairly smart) guy at work had some dealings w/ pls and was pushing me to buy saying the stock would double in a very short period of time. Pls hit very hard in 08 crash, I bought in somewhere around $1.75?, did not stick around long.....Chart now looks likes a dogs bkft trading at .97 cents!!!
