WORLDS RICHEST MANCarlos Slim the Mexican zillionaire is rumoured to be looking to take a position in Silver according to an article on King world news today. Seeing as the silver marketplace is too small for his monetary firepower the rumour claims he is looking to buy into "Fresnillo mining" Mexicos and possibly the worlds biggest Silver miner with a market cap of $19Billion!! The company is currently owned by another less wealthy Billionaire from Mexico as well.
The impact on the Silver market if the Rumours are true could be massive and I cant help wondering what the current Mexican Fresnillo owner would do with all the funds he would recieve in a buyout?? He sure as hell wouldnt want to keep hold of the dollars paid for Fresnillo but just think how many up and coming Mexican Silver miners he could buy with the Fresnillo Billions!! Silvermex are surely on the radar of some very big fish and if Mr Slim does indeed make his move for Fresnillo it could kick of a huge round of silver mining musical chairs!!!!!!!!!!!
