chartsthe last time ron meisel was on bnn (keep in mind his former top 3 pix were atrocious) he described what TA's call basing as something I never heard before. I believe he called the end of the line (like where the stock was presently at) as a variant point and that the stock had a possibility of either turning up or down He mentioned this term about 4 times during the show . This was only on former basing line type stox but I LMAO. Either up or down - NO FN kidding! I have always been intrigued by them but I confess I think they r useless. On one episode of market call there was a guy who was going to explain/teach us about technical analysis but he prefaced the show that he was only going to give a little bit of info due to time constraints and warned that a little info often does more harm than good. As soon as he said that I admired him and knew what he was referring to. Imagine me thinking I finally got a grasp of this wonderful hocus pocus and using this knowledge to help me pick winning stox. I immediately changed the channel. PS Chipshot your comments always seem bang on "r they trying to scare us out of our money" - ALWAYS! But one of my first posts here alluded to any thoughts of the hockey stick like patterns of the silver stox. Don't have to be a chart reader to see that this could be a problem in the future. glta!
