RE: short position SMF is a great investment and for the life in me I don't know why the shorts/market manipulators chose this stock to be its victim.
To small retails like us once these leeches invade, that's the end of your investment. That's why I grudgingly sold off the rest of my SMF holdings last week. Enought is enough. I can't stand seeing SMF trading totally out of synch with the POG, or its fellow gold miners too much longer. After all, these maggots have been playing SMF like a yo-yo since November 2010!! I was happy when shorts on SMF dropped to almost nothing not too long ago and now it looks like they are back. The only question I ask is "why????"
This is getting like the movie "The Exorcist", the only question I asked then was of all the people in the world why the devil had to plague the same poor girl over and over again? I guess that question should be asked of the shorts on SMF now.
