CPG's loss

CPG's lossCPG reported a $400K loss using the sale to Soil as the reason. That mean's they had previously valued Soil's new assets over $1B.   Great deal for Soil?

"Crescent Point reported a net loss of $411.7 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2024, primarily driven by a non-cash impairment charge recorded on classifying its non-core Saskatchewan assets as held for sale, prior to the recently announced disposition."
