RE:RE:Whole sector is up green only one red down Your question: How does this outfit get away with such Terrible management etc.?
Answer with a question: Who will stop them?
Answer to that question: A hostile take-over bid by a motivated buyer - just like Sandpiper did with Artis!
The management at SLAM has no skin in the game - so it would be very easy for an external activist investor to take control of the reins.
How do we facilitate such an interest developing?
By voting NO to everything that we are entitled to vote on for the annual meeting!!!
If Board members are turfed or receive low % votes, this increases the likelihood of an activist taking interest.
Nothing else we can do - so at least do this!
Analogous to voting Conservative even though you know that the Lie-berals will cheat and lie and steal the election. At least, those not stoopid enough to support them can prevent them from having a 99.99% share of the vote - as happens in North Korea and China and Vietnam and Cuba .......
