Market in agreement

Looks like the market agrees with my sentiment that an 8 handle for the distribution is needed before a floor is in. Might bounce around $2 just for psychological reasons first. Meanwhile MRT up today but mostly trading flat the last month. The juice has already been squeezed out of that one but not this.

depends on how q1 looks as well.  could be a huge swing that day both good or bad

Market has given up on the management. All metrics but fees for Slate have been down year over year for at least the past 5 years. Hopefully someone takes this out of its misery.

I would not be surprised to see Armoyan buy out the company at a very low price.  What he paid for his 15% was to get him on the board.  On balance, he will come out ahead.

Anyone know his history with Temple Hotels, Cominar etc..is this along the lines of what he did with those?  The theory feels like it doesn't pass the smell test, take an action that craters the price then scoop up shares?

Some say his cost is $4.70.  If he is to make money without scooping up cheap shares, the price has to get above that.  Currently, $4.70+ is not looking very likely.

We (retail) have an entity worth $2.  Anyone that can take it private has an entity worth $5 or $6 or $7.  Tell me if I'm looking at it wrong.
