Pipeline to the East CoastEurope is hard pressed to replace the natural gas it relied on from Putin's Russia for years.
In Canada we have a lot of gas, but no pipeline to the east coast from Omtario, nor is there a storage or loading facility to enable Canadian natural gas to get it to the European market.
Why are efforts to extend the pipeline easterly from Ontario blocked?
In the event of a rail strike to haul oil and gas/propane there would be an emegency, that a pipeline would prevent from happening.
Our country needs money, and Europe is desperate for gas - the near-sighted politics heart both:
Canada and Europe. It only helps Putin, the self-declared enemy of us in the west.
