propane vs nat gas

Best performing gas is propane. Used heavily in winter in rural areas to heat out buildings and homes who do not have natural gas lines to property. Up 10.3% in the last month. 7% dividend @ end of December. GLTA

Why is the share price on a 2 year slide going down? If it is "Best" performing you would think it would at least maintain somewhat of a parallel graph. Just wondering -- haven't followed it before.

Because SPB is a Distrbutor of propane.. not a Producer of it.. In the end, the share price has been pressured because the company is going through a transition phase to clean energy + lots of "seasonality" with warmer winters causing demand decline... I have been a shareholder for years and continue to believe better times are ahead, especially with an eventual takeout by Brookfield... ...more

On the plus side, short interest in SPB as of 2023-11-30 just decreased 36% from 2023-11-15.  TSZ short interests were just reported this morning.
