Sir raises distribution - dividend yield now 8.2 percent

Sir raises distribution - dividend yield now 8.2 percentGood news as the company has raised its distribution for the first time since June 2013.  Up over 5 percent to $0.10 per month, or $1.20 annualized.

The catalyst is a combination of new stores and ssss growth.

This equity is unique - growing distribution, above average yield, zero franchising (so far), opportunities to expand (virtually no stores outside of Ontario), and well managed.  Has compounded at north of 15 percent return for more than a decade.

"This increase to unitholder distributions is supported by the strong performance of our restaurant brands and reflects our consistent focus on investing in new and existing restaurants to drive growth in royalty pooled revenue and same store sales," said Peter Fowler, President and CEO of SIR Corp.
