Busy last night
Busy last nightDecided to put in my support and visited Scaddabush last night... no go. The wait was too long so we jumped over to Jack's and got a table as the latter has more seating I believe.
They were much busier than I would have expected for the last night of indoor. Maybe people rushing out to get one more night in before this idiotic shutdown.
We waited for a bit for someone to come around, then realized they were short staffed. The bar tender eventually jumped out from behind the bar. This guy was amazing, he was doing the job of 4 people. We were patient with the service knowing the circumstance and thanked him at the end.
The market is sniffing that Omincron is going to fizzle out very soon and the pressure will quickly mount to reopen. With vaccines, boosters, anti-viral pills, and natural population immunity, the stage is being set for covid to exit as a pandemic and join the long list of endemic, but less worrisome, diseases.
