SIR has concept restaurant brands, including Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill, Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar, and Canyon Creek Chop House, signature restaurant brands, such as Reds Wine Tavern, Reds Midtown Tavern, Reds Square One, and The Loose Moose, which are used by SIR under a license agreement with SIR Royalty Limited Partnership (the Partnership. The Fund receives distribution income from its investment in the Partnership and interest income from the SIR Loan. The Fund indirectly participates in the revenues generated under the License and Royalty Agreement through its Investment in the Partnership.

Really excited to hear it's relaunching. The fast food market, while extremely crowed, is ginormous around $27 billion. For a small player like SIR, they don't need to own it, just steal a few % pts from the competition to make a big difference to their bottom line. The potential is huge, rollout initially through Jack's again, but beyond that they could easily look to franchise the model to the rest of Canada now with two great forces behind the machine.

Did they ever close it? Or just recently reopen? I thought from one of the press releases it got closed?
