Can't speak for others, but I don't have that much time to sift through all the posts, so I am hoping that what I read is concise, and is related to the stock that is the subject of this board. I am hoping to get insight about Sandstorm, analysis, and even opinion, but I do not care to read a promotion of another stock. This is akin to getting spam in my email. It is one thing to perhaps mention that a streaming partner is doing well / not doing well, but our focus here is Sandstorm and I can't care to read about other companies when I go on the Sandstorm forum.
It also comes down to reputation. Even if one is to do some promotion, if they have a history of being on-topic, insightful, respectful, people would not care so much. But for a person who has consistently just pumped other stocks, it is not only off-topic, it is not relevant to our discussion here.
