Gold volumes

Gold volumes

Used to be a time when cnbc would cover the trading volume.  At the end of the day it was always big news.  I mean a down day on low volume means nothing.  The tsx volume always used to be mentioned on bnn again always at the end of the day.  Now its never done.  And what of gold's volume?  Big drop today but how does it reflect with regard to volume?  Does anyone have a site which covers this?  So thats the pro part of the post.  Here's what people wont like - Metalyman  there are many pundits (Barry Schwartz was just on market call the other night) saying he saw no value for gold.  I of course DISAGREE!!  Yet don't underestimate the powers that be to make gold seem insignificant especially if one of the big economies starts rolling (read USA) here.  They'll play that aspect up and say Europe will ride its coattails and everything will be just fine and so this slow ballad will be drawn out countless years again until the powers that be tackle the debt issue which I have some theories on and who knows - if the economy gets going it will buy the powers time which hurts u and I and who knows how it plays out.    GLTA but this slow dance continues and big money does not want to make it easy for us!!
