RE:New Press Release - Sandstorm Gold Royalties Provides Updates on Key Development ProjectsWhat a disaster this Hot Maden aquisition turned out to be.. might still be ok long long term but wow.
not only does it say they would make a decision on construction (i'm sure it will go through)
but now pushed to 2027? wasnt it supposed to start in like 2021 or 2022? SO, chances are if things go fairly well, it will be 2028 and probably full production by 2029. like over 10 years from the investment where it was touted as one of the best economically viable mines in the world. but takes this long?
Not only that but the recent capital allocations, the dillution of existing shareholders (yet again) just to get "bigger"
I don't think I've been in a company where management has been so incompetent.. Maybe not "incompetent" but a management team where you cannot trust to know what they will do, what their strategy is or trust them to make good deals consistently.
I have been a shareholder for over 10 years. I have seen botch after botch while people say how smart they are... I don't get it. Thankfully I have reduced my sharecount drastically over the years on upswings in the stock because I know, it is only a matter of time for yet another letdown.
Don't mean to be so negative as im actually a positive person and I genuinely like to see story's with half glass full but lets remember.. these guys make an incredible amount of money for these decisions and they should be held accountable to them. Just when you think they are making better decisions, they pull a fast one.
I've had great hope for this company but like I said i've reduced my position labout 80% and I am happy I have done that.
My advice, wait until there is blood in the street, then pick up shares just to sell it on an upswing.
