8 company officials have been arrested including one Canadian.  Hopefully they get the punisment they deserve.

THe arrests are a fact.  If something will come out of it, it is a different thing. After all the Turkish partners are strongly affiliated with the current government.

Its a third world country. Arrest to appease the locals then shake down

What punishment did you have in mind haha. Engineering errors happen all the time. Bridges collapse, dams collapse, buildings collapse, airplanes crash due to engineering errors. . In our society, unless criminal negligence can be proven  it remains a civil matter with "punishment" limited to fines. Of course, in other countries it can be different and mostly driven by authorities
